This artist can make realistic mountain landscapes -- inside your books

If you have thick books lying around the house with contents you cannot bear to read, perhaps you may want to do what this artist did -- carve a detailed landscape into them.

Said STOMPer BookShelf who sent in the photos:

"This artist, Guy Laramee, has been carving beautiful landscapes into thick volumes.

"He has been creating art for over 30 years, dabbling in stage writing, to contemporary music, painting and even literature.

"However, his book sculptures are the most famous works he is known for.

"Take a look at these photos and be amazed by how he magically forms rocky mountain ranges, bodies of water, islands, hidden caves and so on...just using these books.

"Not only are his sculptures gorgeous and a great way to recycle books, but super realistic too."

What a waste! Why don't you actually recycle those books? instead of cutting million of trees just for art that when you can use other materials!!!
