We all love to collect things -- from stamps, to epicurean experiences and so on. Step into the holiday house of this teddy bear collector, and meet 10,000 bears.

"This guy collects teddy bears like crazy. He has 10,000 of them and he can't keep them in a cupboard.?

"No, Ricky Lenart keeps them in his holiday home, which is all of three storeys.

"The artist is a resident of New Orleans, USA, and in addition to procuring and maintaining these bears, he also spends lots of money on decorations.

"For Christmas this year, he spent about USD$40,000 to USD$50,000 ($52,000 to $65,000) on decorations.

"Thank goodness his efforts are not wasted, for his holds guided tours for the 'Teddy Bear House' in the holiday season.

"Imagine taking out 10,000 bears to put on display, and keeping each and every one of them between seasons.

"Plus he doesn't keep the money made from ticket sales. Instead he donates this amount to non-profit organisations. Wow, I feel like giving this man a bear hug.

"Of course he has help decorating the house, and it's indeed hard work. Each room has a different theme, down to every minute detail.

"Oh, and you haven't seen the entirety of his collection after you've toured the house. Mind you, his collection includes over 10,000 bears, 2,500 bear ornaments, 200 bear art books, 800 Beanie Baby bears, bear fans, plates, liquor bottles and even beary blankets.
