Why cut down our beloved tree? Now there's no more shade for nursery and market

STOMPer Jackie saw this big tree beside block 225 at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 chopped down as a preventive measure to falling branches.

Said the STOMPer:

"No number of reasons can justify chopping down this grand tree beside block 225 at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.

"It had provided shade to the nursery beside it and also to the market.

"If falling branches is a concern, then regular pruning will be the answer, not cutting it down.

"It's like solving a problem and then creating ten others!"
