It's $7,000 to fix this damage after minor accident

STOMPer Confuse was surprised to learn that $7,000 has been claimed from his insurance company to fix what seemed to be minor damages on a car he was involved in an accident with.

Said the STOMPer:

"This is the picture of the damage to a vehicle.

"A third party company claimed $7,000 from my insurance company for the damage.

"How can the claim be result to $7,000?"

It could have cost more if that owner wants to. He coul have claim you for causes like renting a car for his personal use as he needs a car to work or travel around. And u gotta pay for the rental. And from what I see, the headlight looks like a BMW. If he is ***** enough, he could have say he is only used to BMW cars and u gotta pay for the high rental fee per day.

That is why car insurance premium keeps increasing every year. I guess his accident coverage is under "any workshop" meaning, he may repair other parts of the vehicle and ask the mechanic to make claim.
Abused claim.
