Police cars parked at taxi stand inconvenience cabbies and passengers

STOMPer Peter noticed some police cars parked at a taxi stand at Chinatown this afternoon (Dec 6), preventing cabbies from picking up passengers at the taxi stand.

Says the STOMPer:

"Illegal parking?

"This happened at Temple Street in Chinatown this afternoon (Dec 6) just before 2pm.

"Some police cars were parked illegally, with two parked at a taxi stand, making it difficult for cabbies to pick up passengers.

"There were alot of people at the taxi stand.

"The police cars were parked there for at least 20 minutes, and the cars were empty."
