Tree falls onto busy Ang Mo Kio road, hitting car and causing traffic jam

STOMPer Song heard a crashing sound and when the STOMPer went to the window to check, a tree had fallen onto the road, hitting a traffic light and landing on a car.

Wrote the STOMPer (Dec 4):

"I heard a sound and noticed that a tree had fallen and landed on a car around 1.50pm.

"Luckily it seems no one was injured as it landed on the car's boot.

"The other part of the tree hit a traffic light.

"I called the police straight away and they arrived within 10 minutes.

"Currently, there is a traffic jam there and only one lane is passable.

"The SCDF is working to clear the tree from the road.

"Motorists, please avoid the junction of Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 and 2."
