On Nov 26, workers found a body floating in the waters around Marina Bay at 8am. This case comes shortly after a badly decomposed body was found in Pandan Reservoir.
Lianhe Wanbao reported that the body in Marina Bay was of an ethnic Chinese man in his 70s. He was found wearing a short-sleeved collared shirt and beige trousers.
According to the evening paper, the man is believed to have been dead for sometime as his body was cold and stiff when recovered by the police.
It has been classified as an unnatural death, and police are still verifying his identity with investigations still ongoing.
Apart from the body found in Pandan Reservoir on Nov 23, six other bodies were also discovered in separate incidents in the Bedok Reservoir.
On Nov 5, the body of a man was found.
On Oct 25, the body of an elderly woman in her 50s was found floating in the waters.
On Oct 10, an Indian man's body was found at Bedok Reservoir.
On Sept 22, the bodies of a mother and son were seen floating in the Bedok Reservoir.
On June 22, the lower half of Mr Lin Xiao's body was found floating in the water by a PUB employee.
