Large tree in Toa Payoh collapses in downpour
This large tree near Toa Payoh Lorong 8 Block 1 fell over after yesterday's (Nov 20) downpour. Fortunately no one was hurt, said STOMPer daanish.
The STOMPer said:
"I saw this fallen tree at Block 1, Toa Payoh Lorong 8 yesterday at 3 pm.
"Fortunately, no one was hurt.
"It was most probably caused by the heavy rain in the afternoon."

Actually there is a cause for concern. Tree falling may indicate some weakness in support either because of soil drainage or otherwise. Good to check other tree in the environs
