So awesome! Watch surfers get frozen in 'bullet time'
Using the 'bullet time' visual effect from 'The Matrix', watch these surfers freeze in mid-air, mid-stunt, while the camera appears to revolve around them in 360 degrees.
'Bullet time' is a special visual effect used in movies to slow down events (such as firing a gun) while the camera angle revolves around the scene.
STOMPer camturntable shares:
"Remember the scene from the first Matrix movie where Trinity jumped up to kick the police officer and the camera revolved around her in 360 degrees?
"Well that camera effect is called 'bullet time' and it was applied to a bunch of surfers while they were performing their surfing stunts.
"The effect is pretty cool! Check it out!"

- It is a disservice to readers: there's no contextual info, the video player is shit compared to the official 720p videos on Youtube.
- The ugly "Stomp" logos everywhere.
Typical of Stomp to publish these things with ZERO context, ZERO attribution. Google keywords: timeslice ripcurl mirage for more info.
It appears the Sunway Lagoon shoot was done over a year ago, using 52 DSLRs mounted in a row, triggered simultaneously.

It was done in open waters this year, using 30 GoPro HD cameras.
