STOMPer BlackDesire understands that the recent SlutWalk 2011 in various countries was meant to advocate women's right to dress sexily, but the STOMPer wonders if some women are going overboard with such skimpy outfits.
Early this year, a Canadian police officer said that "Women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimised."
This statement outraged women across the globe, leading to the first global SlutWalk in Canada on April 3, where women were encouraged to dress sexily in a show of protest.
SlutWalk aims to send the message that a woman has a right to dress sexily and not be sexually harassed.
The STOMPer shared:
"Regarding the recent SlutWalk that was advocating women's rights to dress sexily without fear of sexual harassment, I wonder if these women have taken their 'rights' to the extreme with these skimpy clothes.
"Are these women asking for trouble dressing like this?"
