Sprucing up S'pore Flyer this X'mas: We can learn from the London Eye

STOMPer Alex feels that the Singapore Flyer could take a leaf out of the London Eye's book and spruce up the tourist attraction to draw larger crowds during the upcoming Christmas season.

The STOMPer shared these amazing photos of the London Eye, which used to be the world's tallest Ferris wheel until the 165m-tall Singapore Flyer was built in 2008. It remains Europe's tallest Ferris wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom.

"Maybe it is high time for Singapore flyer to do something during this coming Christmas in order to attract more people to go there!"

flyer is not a govt organisation, it does not take taxpayers $$.. fireworks are expensive, it needs to be justifiable.. (perhaps only the gahmen can justify it? or shd i say, only the gahmen can afford to do fireworks so frequent).

there are better attractions upcoming (E.g. gardens by the Bay) and x'mas activities in sg than you know..
