Python found near busy road in Yishun, but police say 'not their responsibility'

STOMPer Joshua reported seeing this 2-metre-long python sleeping in a drain near a busy overhead bridge in Yishun Ave 2, but the police told him that it was not their responsibility. The STOMPer wonders whose it is then.

The STOMPer wrote:

"This 2m-long python was found hidden quietly in a drain near a busy overhead bridge along Yishun Ave 2.

"I have called the police but was told that they are not responsible to take care of the fugitive.

"Who should I turn to then?"

Call ACRES wildlife rescue 9783 7782 (24 hours). They're an independent non-governmental organisation that rescues and relocates wildlife.

Similarly, someone may call the police that there is a kaypo - Stomper Joshua creating excitement on seeing a phyton sleeping in the drain. Request the police to trap this kaypo. Who should you turn to? Mental Hospital of course.

Call 999 and ask, regarding snake who and what number should I call if you're not sure. Luckily you never call the doctor!
They need a very trained person to handle such species.

NEA ? SPCA ?

Firstly. Police has their own responsibilities too. Not everything we have to call police. Secondly, before we even jump into any conclusion. We should first think of a better solution to solve this. When the police officers have made a point saying that's not their job, then ask them who they should turn to.
