These four young musicians have been picked by popular Taiwanese singer-songwriter Wang Lee Hom to be the Top 4 winners of the Brand's Music Changes Lives contest. Each of them takes home over $5,000 in prizes.
After a nail-biting two-month-long voting period from July 1 to Aug 31, the top four musicians emerged from a total of 68 submissions in this exclusive contest on STOMP.
They were selected based on the combined results of a 50% public voting score and a 50% score by a panel of judges, followed by being personally chosen by Taiwan singer-songwriter Wang Lee Hom, 34.
The contest aims to give the many young talented musicians in Singapore a bright future in the music field and an opportunity for discovery.
These four top musicians will be able to pursue their dreams in the field of music, as well as perform alongside Wang Lee Hom himself at a special showcase event.
They each won $3,000 cash and $2,000 for music instruments or lessons, a $300 Brand’s product hamper, and two pairs of front-row tickets to the BRAND'S® Music Changes Lives showcase.
Their schools will also be receiving $5,000 pledged to their music departments, as well as five pairs of showcase tickets.
Not in any order of merit, here are the top four musicians:
