Train cabin lights left on during the day: 'A waste of energy'?
STOMPer Billy feels that leaving MRT cabin lights on during the day is a waste of electricity. He hopes that more can be done by SMRT to reduce the use of electricity.
The STOMPer explained:
"I took this picture as I was on the way to Joo Koon MRT Station in the morning at around 8am.
"I was wondering why the lights were switched on even though it was daytime. Wouldn't it be a waste of electricity to switch it on?
"I mean we should be trying to save electricity, shouldn't we? I hope SMRT can look into the matter of switching off the lights during the day."
