STOMPer Dull-witted is surprised to find out that a 'foreign monk' is also working as a consultant on business, love and financial matter, and that he charges $50 for each consultation.
Said the STOMPer:
"I saw this 'foreign monk', clad in saffron robes, slotting flyers into my mailbox at the void deck of the HDB block in Bukit Batok.
"I accosted him and asked politely why he was distributing flyers in a public estate.
"He replied in halting English with a heavy Thai accent that he is merely earning a living like everybody else. He said that he charges $50 for each consultation as nothing is free in Singapore.
"I do not know if he is a real or a fake monk.
"The message on the flyer says this particular monk is dead accurate in his advice on 'fate, business, mate and wealth'.
"In short, he is a soothsayer, a business entrepreneur, a match-maker and a financial adviser to all those who need his help to get along in life.
"He also promises 'you can overcome all resistance and be guaranteed a new life with a bright future'.
