How far would you go to pose for a photo? Well, STOMPer vignes k saw a girl who stood in the middle of the road while the red man was on, just to pose for one.
Said the STOMPer (Sep 22):
"This scene was taken at the junction of Woodlands Avenue on September 19, 2011 around 7 pm.
"The girl pictured here was seen standing in the middle of the road and posing while still on the road to be photographed by her friends.
"This was done with total disregard to the traffic and she was not even supposed to cross the road at that time as the red man signal was already up for quite some time.
"This particular junction has seen a few accidents in the past 3 months, some being fatal.
"Youngsters nowadays like to jaywalk, and this puts motorists at risk.
"Car drivers will not be able to drive safely on the roads if pedestrians like her are spotted.
"Despite road safety education, jaywalking is still rampant."
