Spelling error on patrol car: It has been corrected, says Police

The Singapore Police Force has responded to STOMPers' sightings of a police patrol car which has a spelling error on its boot, saying that the error has been corrected.

Earlier today, STOMPers sent in photographs of a police patrol car where the word 'Police' was misspelled as 'Poliec'.

Both photos sent in by the STOMPers show the same patrol car, bearing the same licence plate.

One of the STOMPers, Habi, said:

"My brother was driving his bus along Orchard Road, and saw this."

Another STOMPer, Pillion, said:

"I saw this police car in the Clementi area.

"I was waiting for the traffic light when I noticed the car with the wrong spelling of 'Police'."

A representative for the Singapore Police Force responded:

"Thank you for the alert.

"The error has been corrected a few days back when it was discovered."

WTF This kinds of stuffs they also can get it wrong? "POLICE" is not like some words like "TURNETRYSUKIAXIAM" right. Just a 6 letter word they spelt it wrongly!? And before the printing they should be checking for error. Omg pre school kid can even spell this backwards.

Austonpowel, you are right leh. Our poliec do not notice unusual things, even whrn they are in patrol, they close car windows and drive around with aircon on (not sure music also on inside). If someone screaming, crying for help or some crimes heppened, they won't hear anything. Its not like patrolling, its more like joyride.
