STOMPer Flyer extends his condolences to Ms Vanessa Preechakul, whose boyfriend apparently choked to death on an inflight meal shortly after take-off on a Jetstar flight to Auckland.
The 27-year-old architect had to sit next to her boyfriend's lifeless body for nine hours.
According to a Straits Times report, Mr Robert Rippingale, 31, who worked in aviation logistics in Singapore, was heading home to New Zealand with his girlfriend, Ms Preechakul, on Aug 29 when the incident happened.
A doctor who was on the plane failed to resuscitate him.
STOMPer Flyer said:
"My condolences to Ms Preechakul and Mr Rippingale's family.
"It's bad enough that you have lost a loved one, but imagine having to sit beside the body for nine hours!
"Was there no more appropriate place on the plane to lay his body?"

Stomper, go find better news for us to read :)
RIP
Having a doctor on board does not mean no one will die. Having trained crew, does not mean there will no deaths in flight.
