Illegally parked bikes at MRT station should be removed, not locked

MRT staff padlocked bicycles that were parked illegally outside Admiralty station. STOMPer Stefanie commends this act but thinks they should have removed the bicycles -- since their signs say so.

STOMPer Stefanie said:

"Glad to see SMRT locking up illegally parked bicycle.

"They could have done more, just like what their notices on wall said 'bicycle will be removed.'

"Instead of just locking them up.

i think smrt should honor the sign and remove the bicycles. otherwise no one will take this warnings seriously. same as signs in trains and buses. no one cares what they say as it is not enforced.

Who cares if these belong to china workers, that has nothing to do with the topic.

I totally agree, just remove and recycle them! Trust me, they wont leave it there a 2nd time :)

why don't you suggest a way to prevent ppl eating in MRT instead of these ppl should learn to obey the rules first.

are u suggesting SMRT to put a staff on each train to check?? how about peak hour?? each staff at 1 cabin??

These commuter should learn to behave and not the SMRT...
