No, this isn't a movie set -- this lush greenery is right here in S'pore

STOMPer Jeffrey says that the lush greenery on either side of the KTM railway reminds him of Pandora, the alien planet featured in James Cameron's blockbuster movie Avatar.

Jeffrey wrote:

"For those of you who have yet to take a stroll along our railway track, maybe you would like to do so before the end of the month as the tracks will be closed to the public after July.

"If you have watched the movie Avatar, well, this is Singapore’s version of the Avatar landscape in our own backyard.

"Seeing is believing. Here's some of the photos I took along the way.

"Go down and take a walk. You will be amazed that such greenery still exists in Singapore.

"Sadly, they may not be around for long."
