This Urban Jungle
Listen to early birds of Stomp's MMSing Talent Contest

Nina Alexy Makilin and Ong Jin Jie are two of the first contestants to send in their entries for the fourth season of MMSing Talent Contest.

Nina, a Ngee Ann Polytechnic student croons 'Breakeven' by The Script, while Jin Jie sings Chris Medina's 'What Are Words'.

This annual contest organised by STOMP aims to uncover local singing talent, with a new spin.

Participants record their performances using their mobile phones.

Their entries are then showcased on STOMP, where millions of STOMP readers view and vote on their favourite breakout act.

Nina and Jin Jie are both in the running to win the first prize of an Apple Macbook Air laptop and a Canon FS100 Digital Video Camera, among many other prizes totalling up to $12,000.

So what are you waiting for? Take a video of your best performance and send it in stomp@stomp.com.sg, and it will be uploaded on the MMSing website for all to watch and vote.

Top contestants in each category will be determined by a combination of public online voting and scoring by our panel of judges. They will then go on to compete before a live audience at the MMSing contest finals.

There is no limit to the number of clips you can send in. In addition to quality vocals, our judges will be looking for presentation and showmanship, as well as that special ‘X’ factor that sets gifted performers apart.
