New Transport Minister leads by example: Lui Tuck Yew spotted riding public bus

He's not just talking the talk, but also walking the walk. STOMPer Jocelyn spotted Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew on a public bus today (May 24), and thinks it is "great for him to have started taking public transport so early in his new job".

She says:

agree with fellow STOMPer glchia2007. and what did you notice too there Mr Minister? Notice:
1 jerky bus driving skills
2 narrow isle
3 narrow seats
4 passengers with back packs filling the isle
5 poor air con

Hope these are also part of your trip.

It's never too early plus he is trying to change the public image of him ignoring a citizen during a walkabout election week which shocked everybody

Hi minister,
Try striking a converstaion with the commuters and listen to their woes. Seeing is one thing, by listening to them you can get a better picture. My salute to you for walking the talk anyway. Cheers!
