Trees fall in heavy thunderstorm, one slams down onto 3 cars

STOMPers collin and Trudy came across fallen trees which were uprooted by the heavy thunderstorm this early evening (Apr 10). One even fell onto three cars at a carpark.

Said STOMPer collin in his email:

"Fallen tree blocks road.

"Saw this at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 and Yio Chu Kang.

"The whole lane was rendered inaccessible to vehicles."

For STOMPer Trudy, a tree fell just outside her house:

"This happened just outside my kitchen window.

"My address: Blk 868 Yishun street 81.

"On 10 April around 5.30pm, the heavy thunderstorm with high velocity winds caused a tree to be uprooted from the ground.

"It fell and slammed onto the three cars beside it."
