Amazing past-to-present photos of S'pore and other cities

STOMPer Vassili sent in these past and present skyline photos of some of the major cities in the world.

Said the STOMPer:

"It's always magical when you look at then-and-now pictures, be it of people or places.

"It feels like you've made a split-second journey through the decades.

"Although I haven't been to most of these cities, looking at their changing skylines makes me wonder how different life was like in each of those places back then.

"How did the people live? What do they do for work? What did they do for fun?

"Unlike people, cities seem to look younger with age.

"Enjoy these pictures. You can see how much Singapore has changed too."

Huh, didn't know that Singapore Marina Bay alread existed in the 1800s? What is the URA Master Plan on Marina Bay about? Is there a URA in the 1800s in Singapore?

Sure that photo is in Singapore Marina Bay during the 1800s? I'm puzzled?
