From handbags to hammocks: Can you believe these were once seat belts?

STOMPer Z came across these pictures of hand bags, car seat belts and even a hammock -- all made from recycled car seat belts. Not only will they show off one's eco-conscience, but they also look stylish, she says.

Wrote Z in her email contribution (Nov 7):

"From women's handbags to hammocks, cushion covers and even to camera straps, I'd never imagine a car's seat belt to be able to be transformed into all these.

"Even the handbags look rather high-class, I'm sure those office ladies wouldn't mind getting one to flaunt their eco-conscience and bring their green-minded side out of home."
