STOMPer CannotBeLikeThatOneWhat couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the water collecting on Shenton Way at about 10.15am this morning outside the SGX Centre.
In his contribution:
"I could not believe my eyes when I saw that Shenton Way was under water this morning outside SGX.
"Could it have been caused by the new construction work next to Shenton House?"
STOMPer Jin Jialat also reports water accumulating at North Bridge Road this morning.

When such natural disaster occurs there is always something new to learn. One way do not litter and choke our drains.

Is this version of "we need to be self sufficient of our water resources"? To convert more land to catchment areas? But it seems backfired and the rain seems to catch some pants down. I wonder if the flood at rochor canal (link to Singapore river), shenton way (close to marina barrage), thomson (close to bishan park under conversion) etc... So many more examples. Is that all coincidence? It's always so easy to blame the rain... They make it sounds like the rain is only occurring in Singapore, funny enough I don't see the surge of flooding reports in other places?
