At last night's (Sep 07) show in Bukit Batok, Taiwanese getai performer Hao Hao had four costume changes -- and all four were dresses. The audience at the show were highly amused by his female persona, known as 'Hao Lian' (Hokkien pun for 'stuck up'), especially when 'she' kissed a man on stage.
The versatile performer is known for his crossdress performances and also, his ability to sing in both male and female voices.
Said a STOMPer who was at the show last night:
"Hao Hao kissed a male helper at the show on the cheek for fun. They later kissed on the lips.
"The 'pecking on the cheek' turned into kissing bit wasn't that gross. The crowd's response was more slanted towards amusement and feeling entertained.
"He also stuffed angbaos given to him into his fake chest.
"His costumes were very well-received by the audience."
