If you're driving in Johor and someone tosses an egg at your windscreen, turning on the windscreen wiper might just land you in hot soup, according to STOMPer Alex.

The STOMPer explains why:

"Planning a weekend drive up North? Take heed.

"This is a new technique used by robbers in Johor Bahru.

"If you are driving at night and someone throws an egg at your windscreen, do not turn on your windshield wiper or activate the water jet. You should drive with a dirty windscreen until you reach a safer place.

"When egg mixes with water it creates a milky mixture that can block your vision up to 92.5%. You are then forced to stop at the roadside and may become a victim of robbers.

"Please inform your friends and relatives and take this seriously."

Tq for this pc of information. Thieves coming coming up with alot of ploys to rob us. This can happen in any part of the world. There is another trick- they stick a pc of paper at the back windscreen so when u have started up ur car u notice a pc of paper behind so u leave ur seat to remove the paper,the thieve either jumps into ur car or swap ur handbag frm the seat or whatever valuables u left on the seat.

dont go there too often la, and be very careful when send your car for washing, seriously watch them do the washing. there's keys duplication activity goin on. after you have finished, they'll tail you. it happen to a family a couple years back. no sign of force break-in, but laptop gone. the paper said it happened after the family had their car washed. so guys watch out.....

Lol luckily they still have some egg-throwing tactic! My friend kena robbed the old-fashioned way in Thailand - Bike just drove alongside and pointed a gun at him telling him to stop. Short and sweet, robber smiled and thanked him after that somemore lol

Another very useful tip:
This is without a doubt a very serious matter which could compromise our safety and of our loved ones, so ALWAYS bring a packet of salt and a spatula with you. If you find yourself in this life-threatening situation, just whip out the above said, sprinkle a generous amount of salt over the splattered egg, scrape it off with your ever reliable spatula and then eat. If you happen to have a can of Vienna sausage with you, why not?

And yeah, a dash of crushed black pepper would be lovely as well. Breakfast of champions.

The given tips are quite useful. But think about it, most get robbed at late hours. So try planning an earlier journey. And have more than one person in ur car. Unless you are able to bring down 4 person in one blow. Also, if u carry a knife/baseball bat alone in ur car, its a chargeable offence. You wanna end up explaining ur self to the police?? I dun think so. Having camera tripods or Lug Wrench is much better alternative and as effective.

Its not that JB/Malaysia that is not safe. It is the dark/empty roads for that matter. And it can even happen in good old Singapore. So better be safe than sorry :)
