What's a live crocodile doing in a mall with kids around?

STOMPer GKW12345 spotted this interesting sight of a man carrying a crocodile while she was at United Square.

Said the STOMPer:

"It looked like a part of a program run by UOB in United Square. It attracted the lunch crowd and many kids gathered to watch the show.

"It doesn't seem too dangerous as the crocodile's mouth was taped shut. But there was a brief moment when the crocodile escaped from the man's hand and children started running and shrieking."

Dunno if ACRES is aware of this?

What's the point the event organisers trying to bring across by subjecting a poor baby croc on stage, taped up, subdued, under stage lightings and blarring sounds?

Just for entertainment?

I was there! My kids love it. A small 2 1/2 feet croc. Great edu-tainment and the touch-n-feel, that's cool! About the fuss, the croc did move on the stage floor but it the handler was always in control. Kids freaked out and ran? This is exaggerated. Let's not inpose our likes/dislikes, fears and inhibitions on our kids. It's called "wild life show" not wild dummy show. If it's wild dummy show, the handler would bring out a dummy, DUMMY!!
