West side of S'pore also hit by morning floods
STOMPer Growiser was greeted by the sight of floodwaters at Boon Lay Way at about 8.25am, as he made his way to work.
A drain along Boon Lay Way (going towards Jurong West Street 51) had overflowed, and flooded the pedestrian walkway and left lane.
Growiser observed pedestrians walking through ankle-high water.
Traffic was heavier than usual, as vehicles manoeuvred through the floods.

It is time Singaporeans consider buying a boat as well. When it floods, they can sail their way to work.

Floods here and there. For sure nothing is perfect. We are always at a learning process. There is always new thing to learn to upgrade our infrastructure each time a calamity occurs. Without this we may feel complacent and cut short our research. The weather pattern is changing. Learn how we can anticipate that by trying other improvements.

maybe they might suggest not planting trees at all to prevent the vegetation from blocking the drains!
