Pictures of the Orchard Road flooding have flooded STOMP's email as more pictures are sent in by STOMPers who are at the scene.
At about 10am this morning, pouring rain island-wide turned Orchard Road into a 'river'. Almost all of Orchard Road is covered in water. Water level in some areas even reached waist-level and the SCDF had to free people trapped from their waterlogged vehicles.
The photos below were contributed by Carmen, Guo Han, Carine, Andrew, and Min.
The video is contributed by Andy Lim.
Even the Newton Circus area was not spared.
STOMPer John sent in a video of the flood at the tourist hot spot.
Watch this story for more video and picture updates from STOMPers at the scene.

Singapore should work with IBM on a smarter water management system to solve the flood problem in Orchard Rd today :-) http://bit.ly/7aR4R0
