When this STOMPer left a comment on a friend's online networking page, he did not expect his friend to react violently, even threatening to send his gang to beat the STOMPer up.

A female friend of the boy had earlier left a status message on his Facebook page saying: "I'm an a**hole. Like this, please!"

The STOMPer, who saw the statement, was unaware that someone else had written it and jokingly commented that it was "very true".

Little did he expect his friend to flare up so dramatically, replying in vulgar language and threatening to beat him up just because of that.

The STOMPer says in an email:

"This story started off from a boy's status change. Whenever you put up a new status, you risk seeing unwanted comments to it.

"This adorable boy saw my comment as a provoke and threatened to beat me up.

"Why do youths in Singapore think so highly to themselves? Why the dramatic gangster act?

"I am very sure that this boy has been raised properly with all the love and care from his parents, considering he is averaged-sized and quite well-fed.

"After the incident, he kept telling all his friends that I am going to die in his hands.

"I do hope that those dramatic youths out there can stop acting like gangsters.

"It may hurt to accept the fact but you are not a real gangster.

"Better luck next time at trying to cause disruption and confusion".
