STOMPer Esabella spotted this Ferrari on fire along Stamford Road at about 12pm today (April 28).

Said the STOMPer:

"A Ferrari caught fire at Stamford Road, with a minor explosion."

Other STOMPers who witnessed the incident were quick to send in photos to STOMP.

STOMPer Peter said:

"A Ferrari caught fire in front of Stamford Court.

"I heard that the driver is safe, but the car is fully burnt."

STOMPers kishore and winnie even sent in aerial photos of the car on fire.

Kishore said:

"I received this picture about an hour ago. A Ferrari caught fire near Chijmes.

"A young male driver was spotted fleeing the vehicle. What a pity to see such a beauty burning."

STOMP checked with the SCDF and it confirms that a Ferrari had caught fire near the junction of Stamford Road and Victoria Street.

SCDF says it received a call about the fire at 11.56am.

It deployed one fire engine and one red rhino to the scene.

The fire was put out using a water jet.

The SCDF says no one was injured in the incident.

That because Ferrari has a very powerful engine , hence when the Ferrari is in motion , the vehicle built up heat so fast , so this should be the case of fire in Ferrari cars . Well I am very disappointed with Ferrari .
