STOMPer Henry was surprised by how similar these two advertisements for 100 Plus and Velocity were. He wonders if Singaporean ad companies are really so short of ideas that they end up copying each other.

In an email today (Mar 14) the STOMPer wrote:

"The 100 Plus advertisement in The Straits Times featured a runner racing with cheetahs.

"Just last week on Friday (Mar 12), a similar ad was seen in The Straits Times. The shopping mall advertisement is also shown on the web.

"Have we run out of originality so that copying is the way to go?

"Isn't this an infringement of copyright?"

Coming June when World Cup starts the whole world will have advertisements for it, and the advertisements which feature football players are copycats is it?...this is a very stupid post
