This dramatic video shows a drunk Australian man on board a Singapore Airlines flight, threatening to open the exit door in midair, while a steward attempts to subdue him.
STOMPer Gliny came across the video in a Spanish website which says:
"Drunken Australian passenger threatens a flight between Barcelona and Singapore.
"During the flight that covered the Barcelona-Singapore route, an Australian passenger in a drunken state wanted to drink more alcohol.
"He taunted the crew and the passengers travelling with him.
"The man insulted the crew and tried to open an emergency exit door.
"He was finally subdued by the crew and other passengers."
In a Straits Times report, the man was identified as Australian national William Dull.
The report states that Dull was arrested when the plane touched down the next morning.
He was sentenced last week to two weeks’ jail for his unruly behaviour on board the flight.
It is believed he had been drinking alcohol on the plane prior to the incident.

To the rest, I'm sure that the SIA crew are trained to handle such incidents with other methods of restraint, without the repetitive throw of punches. I definitely agreed the passenger has to be restraint with some level of force, but punches? Come on now.
And all these racial bashing. I guess we shouldn't partake in them if we do not want it to be inflicted upon us. Cos if we do, that just makes us equal to those who did.
Tie that kangaroo down sport, tie that kangaroo down(twice).
3 cheers for our Singapore boys for a job well done.
