A mild 'flood', resulting from a malfunctioned sewage pipe, caused some inconvenience to shoppers who were doing their last minute Chinese New Year shopping at Jurong Point’s NTUC Fairprice XTRA, says STOMPer Sharon.
In an email to STOMP today (Feb 12), the STOMPer says:
"This happened on Jan 11."
“Malfunction of the sewage pipes caused water to overflow. There was also a filthy smell.
“Everyone is rushing for last minute shopping and then here comes the closure of 5 counters due to the flood.”
