Senior citizens' safety important, but what about students?

STOMPer King Kong applauds the implementation of longer crossing times for senior citizens at road junctions, but feels that this should also include students.

He says:

"It was a good attempt to let senior citizens to have longer crossing time at traffic light junctions by tapping the sensor with their EZ link cards.

"I saw this at certain sections along Jalan Bukit Merah, near Bukit Merah Town Centre.

"I hope LTA can also implement this system for students, as generally, students would take also a longer time to cross the road.

"We also need to take care of the young ones, as they are also very prone to road traffic accidents."

if they also cater for the students, the next article would be to cater for the adults cos they are bz reading emails on the phones ....

driver wants to give way. BUt pedestrains endanger themselves by crossing road anyhow. TP should give drivers the permission to fine jaywalkers as well.

LTA is stupid. the problem is the driver don't give a damn to pedestrian crossing the road. So what the timing change longer ?
