Car's bonnet smashed in Simei accident
An accident between a taxi and a car which happened at about 5pm today (December 24) near Eastpoint Mall in Simei left the car with a smashed bonnet.
STOMPer Choon Yang, who saw the accident, said:
"I heard a 'bang' at first.
"After a few minutes, I decided to check it out.
"I saw one silver car, with the front banged flat, and the taxi side was flat.
"The tow truck carried the taxi away and left the silver car.
"This was the worst accident yet as there have been numerous accidents at this junction near the East Point bus stop.
"The taxi might have moved out from the taxi stand and when it was turning left, a car came and banged into it."

Pls drive carefully. Everytime there is accident, the police is involved. Pls do not over-stress our man in blue. Give them a break.

the area is too congested with motorist left with a "straight going" lane due to the bus stop, illegal parking/waiting and newspaper vendor infront of the bus stop! not to mention vehicle turning in and out of East Point.
