Cute life-sized statues bring colour to Sentosa
STOMPer Sculptor was fascinated by the life-sized statues he saw at Sentosa's Palawan Beach, and feels they brighten the beach up. He says:
"These pictures were taken at the Palawan Beach on Sentosa.
"I saw several attractive life-sized statues. One was of a cheerful lifeguard.
"There was a pirate wearing a hat and earrings, and he reminds me of Long John Silver, the pirate in Treasure Island.
"A Sikh soldier was carrying a rifle and this is reminiscent of the one I saw at a Chinese cemetery at Lim Chu Kang Road.
"And I also saw this statue of a girl trying to entice customers to patronise an ice-cream stall at the beach."
