Check out these too-cool sandcastles by beachgoers at East Coast

These awesome sandcastles were built by teams of beachgoers at East Coast as part of a sandcastle building competition.

Here's what STOMPer Bystander had to say of the impressive castles:

"These pictures were taken at the beach at East Coast Park. I saw groups of teens, adults and senior citizens taking part in a sand-castle building competition.

"Some of the sand castles resembled castles I saw in England. To make it more authentic, the participants added flags, buntings and toy soldiers. Some castles had round doors, a moat and even ramparts.

"Building sand castles requires planning, skill, patience and teamwork.

"It helps to promote team spirit as the team must cooperate to design and build a castle to meet specific requirements. Building a simple sandcastle takes 3-4 hours by a team of 5 participants."

Sand castle building seems to be the norm when you go to East Coast, cause I often see sand castles there.
