Man charges handphone for free at Eunos MRT Station

This man was seen charging his handphone outside the toilet at Eunos MRT Station.

Has rising electricity costs led to this, wonders STOMPer Seah.

The STOMPer says:

"Free electricity sponsored by SMRT, anyone?

"I was in Eunos MRT Station on 20 Nov 2009 at 7.30 am.

"I saw this man charging his handphone outside the toilet.

"With the increase of electric bills, I can understand why this man is doing so."

u 1st time see ppl at MRT station charging phone isit? i tell u la alot ppl also at food court,sch & any where got plug de also ppl use to charge laptops,phone,psp,ds & alot thin

Many SGC do tat too.U don't know when battery run flat.In emergency,u just need 2 find any power source 2charge ur handphone.Tis case,though its not proper,but its not wrong.
How much electricity consume by charging ur phone?? 30-50cents.Ask urself is this very costly 2pay?? How we wish tehs r hp payable chargers around like in the hotels...
