Think you have seen all kinds of durian? Well it can’t get any more unusual than this.

STOMPer Alex sent in pictures of this rare and exotic durian tree which can only be found on Borneo.

Named Durian Kura Kura, or Turtle durian, by the natives, its distinct aroma has been compared to that of a ‘turtle’s pee’.

The fruit is distinct in another way in that it tends to grow around the base and other parts of the tree trunk, rather than off the branches.
