2-metre long monitor lizard found dead along Yishun Ave 1

STOMPer Marco Antonio spotted this dead 2 metre long monitor lizard along Yishun Ave 1 today (Sept 26).

In an email to STOMP today (Sept 26), the STOMPer says:

“When I was riding back home this morning with a friend along Yishun Ave 1 from Seletar Club Road, a large object by the road side caught our attention so we stopped to take a look.

“To our surprise, it was a lifeless monitor lizard about 2 metres long. Whoever hit this poor thing at least took the hassle of dragging it from the road to the pavement to prevent other motorists from running over it.”
