This strange temple nestled deep in a jungle may look like a movie set, but it's actually located near Admiralty Road/Marsiling Crescent.
Here's what the STOMPer wrote of his find:
"Photo 1,2,3,4: These pictures were taken when I was trekking through the forest at the junction of Admiralty Road/Marsiling Crescent.
"I was surprised to come across this makeshift temple in the middle of the forest. Some of the trees were felled and several huts with zinc roofs had taken their place.
"There were tables and some red chairs but not a soul was in sight during the day. However, in the evening and on weekends the place comes alive when devotees arrived to pray and place their offerings on the altar.
"Photo 5: This monkey was busy feeding on the bananas and "wnar ko kueh" placed on the altar. When I went near to snap a picture it scampered up a tree and looked at me suspiciously. When I left the place it quickly climbed down and continued with its free meal.
"Animals have no conscience and they have no qualms feeding on food offered to deities."
Dear all STOMPer,please think twice before writing any more article regarding this type of mysterious temple as those affected wandering spirit now have no where to go ! I beleive it is better to leave them alone in the forest than living in your HDB Flats !
Please do not take these kind of desolated temples as places of interest. They are actually built to allow those wondering souls to have their own place of rest so that they need not to search for other locations which may disturb the mortals.
Do not go there and ask for any wishes lest invite unnecessary troubles.
