S-O-O-O-O cute, these air hostesses, said STOMPer DJAM, who received this link for this inflight safety video yesterday.
It shows how, in the highly-competitive airline industry, other airlines may be gaining an edge over old-fashioned, fuddy duffy and conservative ones like Singapore Airlines.
New ways and fresh ideas, like that created by London-based Thomson Airways, are making them more appealing to travellers.
Thomson Airways is no small outfit. It's the world's largest charter airline and the third largest airline in the UK.
"Passengers usually ignore the safety video because they are so straight and boring, SIA's being no exception," says well-travelled Brad Tan.
So, it is important that airlines ensure the close attention of their passengers to the safety procedures and features.
A passenger of a Thomson flight said this: ''When the IFE screens dropped down and on came the video, what a breath of fresh air. This video captured the passengers attention. I have never seen so many people glued to a safety video and smiling and laughing. Well done, Thomson, you have certainly got this one right."
Another airline which had an attention-grabbing way of delivering the inflight safety message is SouthWest Airline, as a recent Stomp story showed.
