Rare Tudor-style house on Pulau Ubin

STOMPer  Architect came across this Tudor-style house near Chek Jawa on Pulau Ubin and sent these pictures of the rare sight to STOMP.
 
“These pictures are of a Tudor-style  house taken near Chek Jawa at Pulau Ubin. 

“The original house was built in the 1930s by the then Chief Surveyor, Langdon Williams and he built this as his holiday retreat.

“He even had a private jetty so that he could relax here when he crossed the sea to this idyllic island. 

“Recently, NParks has taken over the land and renovated the house while retaining the original Tudor-style  structure.”
