Just a note and Singapore Power staff exempted from paying for parking

STOMPer Shaik saw this biker who was exempted from paying for parking with this note on his bike that claimed he was on duty for Singapore Power (SP) when there was no indication of the bike even belonging to SP.

Said the STOMPer:

"I saw this biker that claimed to be on his meter reading rounds for Singapore Power with this notice attached to his bike, and therefore did not display any parking coupon.

"Is this allowed? It looks like a privately-owned bike, with no Singapore Power logo on it or anything like that.

"I'm wondering why they have special privileges and do not need to pay for their parking.

"Singapore Power is charging the public an additional fee for sending reminders, but they can't pay for their own parking."
