STOMPer Esther feels parents here should do more to educate their children to obey school rules and not interfere with discipline while at school.

"It would be a weird and sad world if teachers were to undermine the authority of parents at home.
"As citizens of Singapore, we have to obey laws. If we break them, we would be penalised.
"As a mother, you should educate your children to obey the school rules. At home, you are the role model and educator.
"Leave the discipline to the schools and don't interfere with their authority.
"As parents, you should educate and nurture your children to be good citizens of Singapore who have full respect for our laws and not to behave like spoilt brats who defy school rules and our laws.
"Do you blame the school or the parents for raising teenagers who have no respect for discipline and authority?
"Ask your own conscience."
