Is this because of a dare? Boots hung mysteriously on traffic light post
STOMPer Ai Ling spotted a pair of boots that was hung mysteriously on a traffic light post at Choa Chu Kang.
Said the STOMPer:
"Boots over traffic light found at the road junction of Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 and Choa Chu Kang Loop."
According to online sources, shoes on overhead wires could be a territorial symbol for gangs in some parts of the world.
Alternatively, in places like Jersey City and New York City in the United States, drug dealers apparently hang shoes on overhead wires to tell buyers that drugs are nearby and are available for sale.
