Loud cheers, laughter and applause emanating from Pasir Ris Drive 6 last night (Aug 28) were testament to the high-octane getai concert featuring the likes of hosts Qi Xian and Zhu Li Li, Liz Low and Babes in the City.
Running from one performance venue to another, the artistes showed no signs of fatigue as they worked well-rehearsed dance routines into their vocal performances -- Taiwanese performer Hao Hao even had a towel to wipe off the sweat on his face at one point on stage.
Some of the artistes endeared themselves to the crowd by moving around the seating area, while singing nonetheless, and getting them involved in the festivities.
The night saw a total of 14 performers take to the stage as the area celebrated the annual Hungry Ghost Festival with a bang.
